Asher is 2 years old!

I can't believe Asher is 2 years old today! He is a crazy cool kid who is such a joy!! The little booger is way too smart for his own good and amazes me everyday with what he can do. Happy Birthday little man!

This blog is not the answer, the end all be all, last stop shop. It is just one Mamma's attempt to keep her family healthy and be the best they can be. I have received so many questions about how we live and what we eat that I thought it best to start a blog and encourage other Mammas who want to eat healthier but don't know where to start. It can be done and it can be done with children even in America, land of the processed food. If you have a question or want me to look into something leave me a comment. I can't promise it will be fast but I will try to respond in a post if I can.

I knew when my second child was born with Trisomy 21 that life would change, I just didn't realize how much. After much research I found that Down's Syndrome is a symptom of Trisomy 21. The third 21st chromosome increases the amount of free radicals in the body which in turn causes Down's Syndrome, more or less. So I am attempting to, through diet, supplements and environment, minimize toxins and free radicals in their body and through proxy my own and the rest of the family.

Good luck to all reading this blog and contemplating eat outside the box. It’s NOT easy!! In fact it is downright hard but oh so worth it!!
