"Wild Deer"

We went to our friend's deer farm this weekend and as you can see we
encountered some really 'wild' deer.

This was "Seven" she was very wild, as you can see. Asher hugged her, leaned on her, hit her, fed her cookies and some more cookies.

He crawled under and around and under and around her several times. She was great!

Then we went to feed the big deer. And boy were they BIG. And super gentle! This sweetie was named 'Ugly' but his name wasn't very fitting because he was gorgeous! Asher fed him many cookies. They even shared a cookie. Asher took a bite, let Ugly nibble/lick it and then Ash finished it off. Deer spit..... Never thought about it but Asher has eaten worse.

We fed a whole lot of deer and it was really tiring. We fed them cookies but only the Wal-mart brand, I was told they don't like any other brands. We fed them donuts, donut holes, and of course deer corn. It was so much fun and I will never forget this wonderful weekend. A big thanks to our hosts, we are truly grateful for the memories.

We made it! 1 year old!

Well I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a hard year. But we made it!! Caius James is 1 year old today!! Yay! He is such a sweet boy and we are so blessed that he is ours. We had a small Birthday party for him last night. Here are some pics!

This was right after we sang Happy Birthday and he (I) blew out the candle (its in his hand). I will say he handled the singing and clapping much better than Asher did at his 1st birthday party.

Oh my, how cute! Now if only he would have eaten some of it.
